April Artist of the Month
Terri Lewis
Terri is originally from Washington state but moved to Arizona about 11 years ago to escape the rainy climate. She comes from a family of artists and has been an artist most of her life.
Although she has worked in several art mediums, her specialty is pastels, which she typically applies on linen. Terri states, “Pastel painting has been a passion of mine for several years. I think painting on linen is an interesting and creative method that is similar to oil painting.” In addition to pastels, she creates some of her works in both pencil and in ink.
Terri is an award-winning artist and has sold many of her works. She recent-ly won first place for pastels at the Glendale Art Show in 2022. Her work will be on display in the showcase outside the Palo Verde Artists club room at Sundial Recreation Center during the month of April. Please stop by to ad-mire Terri’s latest works!
