Description: Acrylic painting techniques are often characterized by painting in layers. Welcome to a versatile medium that is capable of giving both the transparent brilliance of watercolor as well as the density of oil paint. This course explores the correct materials, pigments, principles and techniques used in acrylic painting, while recognizing each student’s unique creative talents. Suitable for beginners and intermediate levels. Supply list provided upon request. Students are invited to bring a reference photo/drawing of their choice from which to work
