Class Description: Introduction to Fluid Art – Acrylic Pouring
Get ready to have fun and get messy! In this workshop, we’ll experience two methods of getting liquid acrylic paint onto canvases and discover how beautifully “organic” Fluid Art can be.
Supplies:
Vinyl or other protective gloves
Apron / Painting clothes
Roll of paper towels
Two stretched canvases – 9×12 and 12×12 inch;
Boxes or another container for taking wet canvases home
If possible, prepare your canvases by taping the back (frame) with painter’s tape. Using screw cup-hooks or large push pins in the frame corners making it possible to hold and tilt the canvas and allows air circulation to speed drying.
