SEPTEMBER
Week 1, Sept 7th, Watercolor Succulents
******New students may use instructor’s supplies for a $5 fee and will be provided a list of where to buy affordable good WC supplies if they would like to do so.
Week 2, Sept 14- Alcohol Inks –
Supplies: old brushes, 3 small ( 2-3 oz size)water containers, a rag, metallic pens ( if you own them- don’t buy them)
***** There is an extra fee for this class for supplies that is $10 per student. I will provide the alcohol inks, the paper, alcohol, and tools, a blow dryer, some specialty markers and pens, gloves, and devices to blow alcohol ink. Wear old clothes!
Week 3, Sept 21– Rocks
Supplies: same as week 2
*****Fee of $5 if you use instructors supplies
Week 4, Sept 28- Magnolia Tree- No photo
A Day at the Beach ( focus is on distant figures walking along the beach)

Supply list for all classes: paints ( in palate as well as your tubes), paper (140-300 lb watercolor 100% rag), brushes, old brushes you don’t mind ruining, water container, pencil, art eraser, scissors, ruler, salt, micron pen, and your fun loving imagination!
***As always I have some 100% rag watercolor paper for sale but you should plan to bring your own unless you are a beginner student and have not yet purchased supplies.
*** You may use instructor’s supplies and cost for this is $5 per class. Information will be given on where to buy supplies at reasonable cost at first class. This fee includes student grade watercolor paper, watercolor pencils, and professional quality watercolors, brushes etc.

- Size #10 round and #1 rigor best for brushes

*micron pen, Elegant Writer Pen ( if you have one)

*scissors

*old rag
*small spray bottle
*reference photos you may have
*old pieces you have done that you don’t like( we can do a weave with these…super fun!)
